Your City Council recently entered into an agreement with St. Louis County to provide a new low-cost interest rate financing program for home owners in the City of St. John. The program is designed specifically for energy efficiency improvements to your home. The program allows you to make energy efficiency upgrades, including replacing HVAC and water heaters. The program is entitled S.A.V.E.S. (Sustainable and Verifiable Energy Savings). The County Older Resident Programs (CORP) needs volunteers for the 2012 Senior Citizen Income Tax Program at the St. John Municipal Center. CORP, a division of the St. Louis County Department of Human Services, seeks volunteers to assist with electronic filing on Tuesdays, 8:30 am - 1:30 pm at the St.John Municipal Center, 8944 St. Charles Rock Road.
