Neighborhood Watch
This is a program designed to teach residents the importance of keeping a watchful eye out for crime and suspicious behavior. Residents are trained how to observe and when to report crime. Residents have meetings with their Police Department on a regular basis to discuss any crime trends and neighborhood issues.
Bicycle Registration
Occasionally bicycles are lost or stolen from residents. In order to accurately report stolen bicycles and help identify recovered bicycles, the St. John Police Department offers bicycle registration to our residents. Simply contact our department and an Officer will gladly assist you in registering your bicycles. These records are then kept on file for reporting/recovering purposes.
S.T.E.P. (Safety Through Effective Patrol)
"While you are in the safety of your home, a St. John Police Officer is patrolling your neighborhood”. This is the message on a S.T.E.P. card. Officers place these cards on residents’ vehicles during the night. This is our way of letting you know that we are patrolling your community and providing a safe environment to live.
Crime Trends & Tips
This section is periodically updated with information on crime trends and provide tips on how to prevent these crimes from occurring.
