Public Parks
The City of St. John has three public parks which vary in size and amenities. In 2008, the City developed a Park Master Plan which has been used as a guide to improve the parks. Each year resources are budgeted to construct some of the suggested improvements.
Home Heights Park,
Located at the intersection of McKibbon Road and Hume Avenue, just north of St. Charles Rock Road. The largest of the three City parks, Home Heights Park is a 9.6 acre park with two pavilions, two playground areas, and a unisex ADA compliant restroom.
In 2011 the plan is to add a walking trail that will encircle the park, and to add a third pavilion on the south end of the park. |
