The City contracts with one trash hauler, currently Allied Waste, in order to obtain the best price & services for their residents. All single family, duplex & triplex residences must use Allied as their trash disposal company. All commercial businesses & other multi-family residences may contract with the hauler of their choice. The 2008 rates for all single family, duplex & triplex residences in St. John are as follows: Basic Service: $ 17.76/month Optional 95 gallon toter: $ 3.50/month Basic Service includes once a week trash, yardwaste & recylcing pickup, 2 bulky items, and appliance pickups. For all appliance pickups, residents must call & schedule the pickup with Allied prior to putting the appliance out. Allied also requests that residents call & schedule bulky pickups as well. |
