Boil Water Advisory - portions of Bel-Nor. Bel-Ridge. Breckenridge Hills. Charlack. Hanley Hills. Overland. St. John. Sycamore Hills. Vinita Park. Vinita Terrace. Woodson Terrace This is a message from Missouri American Water. We are calling to tell you that we have issued a precautionary boil water advisory for a portion of St. Louis County that affects you. We are asking customers to bring their water to a boil for three minutes before using it for drinking or cooking. Tap water is okay for washing, bathing and other non-consumable uses. We will take water quality samples in the area Sunday night. The precautionary boil water advisory will be in effect until water quality samples confirm that the water remains safe for consumption. Precautionary boil water advisories can last 48-72 hours. We will call you again when the boil water advisory has been lifted. For more information, please visit our website or social media.
