[ARCHIVED] Limb Chipper

Wood Chipper

Due to the severe storms that passed through St. John on

Wednesday, July 15th, the City’s chipper will be running the week of the 20th.

This will allow residents to get their limbs out to the curb over the weekend of July 18th & 19th.  As a reminder, limbs must be related to the storms, and no larger than 3" in diameter so they can be put through the chipper.  For streets that have sidewalks, please place the limbs behind the sidewalk so that they do not block sidewalks or protrude into the street.  Limbs should be neatly stacked and nothing mixed in with them. They cannot be bundled for the  City to chip them.  Anything out at the street that is bundled will not be picked up by the City.  However, you can contact Republic Services, your trash hauler, for their guidelines on picking up bundled tree limbs at  (636) 947-5959.

Limbs need to be out no later than 6am Monday, July 20th in order to be picked up.  The City will start chipping on Monday (weather permitting), and will go through the entire City one time.
