[ARCHIVED] Dumpster For Residents Who Reported Their Flooding To City Hall

DUMPSTERS AVAILABLE FOR ST. JOHN RESIDENTS

IMPACTED BY THE RECENT FLOODING


In addition to the dumpster at 8920 Bristol Avenue, two more dumpsters have been acquired from the EOC for St. John flood victims to use.  On Friday, Aug. 5th, a 20 yard dumpster will be delivered to St. John Park and a second 20 yard dumpster will be delivered to Home Heights.  These dumpsters will be emptied each morning between 7am - 8am and will be available for two weeks.

REMINDER: Appliances, Electronic items or Hazardous waste items CANNOT be emptied into the dumpster per state law.   If you have any hazardous waste items, please click on the following link to St. Louis County’s Hazardous Waste website for disposal information:        https://www.hhwstl.com

On Thursday, August 4th and Monday August 8th, the City of St. John will provide a dumpster on the west side parking lot adjacent to the City's Public Works Facility, 8920 Bristol Avenue, (same place the yearly electronic recycling event is held). 

This dumpster is for St. John residents who contacted the City regarding their recent flood damage.  If you had flood damage but have not called City Hall please do so as soon as possible.  

You can also get assistance by calling United Way “211”, who is working in conjunction with SEMA (Missouri State Emergency Management Agency).

 

NOTE:  Appliances, Electronic Items or Hazardous waste items CANNOT be emptied into the dumpster via state law.
