2023 Unhoused Census Counts

On January 26, 2023, between the hours of 5:00 a.m. and 9:00 a.m. the Saint Louis County Department of Human Services, in conjunction with the Saint Louis County Police Department and local service providers, will conduct a census of our unhoused neighbors.  This census often referred to as the “Point-In-Time Count,” is required by the United States Department of Housing and Urban Development and is essential not only to maintaining current levels of funding for homeless programs, but also to secure future housing opportunities and services for the region. 

Unhoused persons encountered during the count desiring shelter will be provided shelter and those that do not wish to be transported to shelter will be given resource information.
