Posted on: March 24, 2023[ARCHIVED] EASTER EGG HUNT

DUE TO THE PREDICTED WEATHER FORECAST
ST. JOHN'S CHILDRENS' EASTER EGG HUNT HAS BEEN POSTPONED UNTIL NEXT SATURDAY, APRIL 1ST, SAME TIME: 11:00 AM SHARP!!,
SAME PLACE: MARVIN ELEMENTARY SCHOOL, 3510 WOODSON ROAD
The egg hunt is open to residents' children & grandchildren, walking age up to 9 years old. If you didn't get your tickets yet, they will still be available up to 5 pm, Friday, March 31st. Tickets are free and you must provide proof of residency. Age groups will hunt at different times in order to give parents the opportunity to watch each individual group that they have children in. You may also park on the Early Childhood Parking Lot which is on the north side of the field.
REMEMBER TO BRING YOUR EASTER EGG BASKETS AND CAMERAS
Should the April 1st hunt be rained out, the hunt will be cancelled for this year. If you go to the field after 9:30 am and nothing is set up and no workers are there setting anything up, then you'll know it's been cancelled.
In the case the hunt is cancelled for the year, the eggs will be at the City Hall and residents can come up the following two weeks, during regular business hours (8am - 5 pm, M-F) and pick up some eggs. You will need to bring your tickets with you for all children you got them for. If you want to bring your child(ren) with you they can pick up the eggs themselves. Please be sure to bring a basket or bag for them to put the eggs into.
